max lift and coil bind for ex612 springs

I know these springs (612) are rated to .600, but how many have tried to push the envelope? What lift are you running and how long have you safely done so? Any coil bind problems

Re: max lift and coil bind for ex612 springs

best way to know for sure is check them in the heads i have a set that would just work with a .606 lift i would have .039 left before coil bind. this is possible but i decided to move up to the 618's installed my spring specs were as follows

IH 1.775
SP @ IH 130#
OP w .606 lift 365# @ 1.169
Coil Bind @ 1.130
.540 between retainer and seal (this is where my system would crash easily fixed with 100 longer rods and valves
and .039 left before coil bind

Hope this helps you
