Thanks for the info guys. I'll be spending a lot more time in the LT1 tech forum as soon as I get back home and start driving/working on my new car I didn't realize a complete rebuild would be that much though

frmula1 I honestly can't say for certain that is what the problem is. I can say that if you scan your computer and pull the same code, then it is probably the cause of it. It's a very easy fix, drop the pan, pull the wires off, pull the clip, remopve the solenoid, insert the new one, replace the clip, replace the wires, bolt it back up and fill it with fluid.

I also put in a drain plug because I don't like showering in ATF every time I change the fluid. I did a filter change as well. All in all it took me about 2 hours, mainly because of the drain plug (I am **** and wanted it in the *perfect* place) If I had only switched out the solenoid, it would take maybe 20 minutes.
