Gasoline smell at startup??
This only seems to happen when I start it up cold first thing in the morning. I get a very strong odor of raw gas coming through the vents. I checked under the car for leaks, looked around the injectors, and checked the fuel pressure regulator as best I could and nothing
! Is there anywhere else that I should look? I really don't want to drive it until I get it fixed. I don't want to find out where it is leaking from when it catches fire. Thanks for any help I can get.....

My car has always been like this, especially when it was colder out. I always figured that it runs slightly rich untill the engine warms up, and with cold temps. the car is going to get more fuel dumped in I would think..
Maybe I have a leak too??

check the evaporative canister under the back left quarter panel behind the filler neck. Have to take the fender liner out. Then check the tank vent located in front of the differential.
Also if an injector is sticky and not closing all the way, it can put extra fuel in the intake and leak back fuel in the fuel line but you would have cranking issues real hard to start.
I have also heard people complain of fuel smell due to a hole in the regulator diaphragm. To check this, pull the vac line off the regulator and see if it is wet. This would allow fuel to be sucked into the vac line and into the intake and cause a rich running condition.

That's what makes it so weird; the car runs fine. It runs no different than before I started noticing the smell. I am going to look closer at the regulator this weekend when I get time. Maybe if it's bad that'll give me an excuse to get an adjustable one
