Dumb? 2 bolt vs 4 bolt main

I now this is a dumb question but what is the difference and our advantage of the two of these?

this has to do with the main bearing caps. They either have 2 bolts, or 4 bolts.

More bolts = more strength. personally i would keep a 2 bolt main and splay the block to a 4 bolt. I feel the 2 bolt lt1 is a superior casting.

Plus, billet main caps are alot stronger than what comes stock. Also, splayed mains have the outer bolts drilled at an angle instead of straight up and down. Much stronger than a standard 4 bolt main block.

Yeah, take the 2-Bolt and splay the mains. 4-bolt splayed is the way to go.
