Yeah get Jet Hot Long tube headers and a cam. I used to have the Hooker shorties, and they were horrilbe compared to the Jet hots I have on my car now. Do some research on the cam to see what you want...

You won't regret going to Long tubes. I "replaced" my coated hooker shorties w/ the LTs and noticed a huge gain. If you want to make maximum power, then get the LTs, I wouldn't be surprised if I picked up 20 rwhp and 20 rwtq over the shorty headers. I sold my shorties for almost the cost of new LTs, but I had to fork out the extra money for a hooker Y-pipe, but it was worth it. If not, then the next thing you can do is port your heads.

I suggest getting some suspension parts.
I was always getting my *** handed to me cause I could not get off the line.
This last summer I won alot more races with the drag launch kit and TA, and Nittos.
With the cam and rockers and stuff you should be making decent power, now you need to hook it up.

Take off the belt, remove the balancer, put on the new pulley and place the old balancer over it, put in the longer bolts w/locktight. Tighten to spec. Remove alternator pulley and replace with new pulley. Tighten. Install new, shorter belt. Done. Test drive car. Drink beer (after test drive).
