Scanned my car this morning, threw two codes. One was relateds to the EGR, #32, and im pretty sure thats jus because the tube from my header to the EGR is leaking. The code i do not know what to do with was a #29, EAS electrical system failure. Only came on in closed loop, what is it and what does it mean????

 

DTC 29 is for the AIR pump. Check the fuse.

BTW, you have 2 identical threads for this for some reason. You should delete one of them.

 

Thanks, and i deleted the other one. Dont know where that came from...I dont have cats anymore, so how can i disable the pump without throwing a code?

 

If you disconnect the electrical connector from the AIR pump and make sure you have a good fuse in the panel for the AIR pump, that should do it.

 

replaced fuse, disconnected harness...good to go..Thanks!
