as said before use ford fluid called mercon 5. good stuff

Is it ok to use the ford fluid with the GM that is in now or must all GM be flushed out first?

this this thread has gone on too long for a simple tranny fluid change

Drop pan
change filter
reattach pan
fill with ford fluid.
done.
