Driveshaft length
You won't like the answer, but you need to measure it after the tranny is in the car. Length can be affected by many things, including the pinion yoke selection on an aftermarket rear.
If you measure the length you need, let me know. I have a Mark Williams 3" chrome moly DS, with TH400 tranny slider, solid 1350 u-joints, maybe a dozen passes on it. I pulled it out of my car when I installed a Gear Vendor O/D and needed a shorter shaft. Was over $600 new.... sell for $450 plus shipping (no waiting
).

With the 9-inch rear, I would definitely wait until it was all together, and measure the correct length. For a high HP application, you are going to want 1" clearance before it bottoms out in the tranny. Steve Spohn (Spohn Performance) also makes custom steel driveshafts, and knows what it takes to support high HP.
A buddy of mine who put a TH400 in his 99 SS LS1, and had a Moser 9-inch tried my MW DS, but it wasn't the correct length.
