Drain coolant for tb bypass?

Do I drain the coolant to do the tb coolant bypass? I seen the question asked b4 but no answer. I would think I would need to drain some, but maybe i wont.

When you pull the front hose a small trickle will come out , not much at all. Stuff a bunch of towels under the TB and near the opti. You'll see its very little.

just put a small towel under the hoses, I ended up cutting one of the hoses and connecting it the teh hose on the right side of the TB, The otehr hose was a bitch to take off.

They recommended way to do it is to unbolt the TB, then remove the lines...

I've never had coolant come out on me the times that I have done the bypass.

Hey guys thanks for all of your help. I just finished it right now. today everything went into place easily, guess i was frustrated last night with that 90 degree hose piece, it just didnt want to budge, ended up cutting it at the bend and removing the two halves.
