does resting pcm = undoing Programing???
does resting pcm = undoing Programing???
If my car had LT1 edit done to it and i rest the PCM via undoing the fuse will this undo any programing that was done...if not would anything undo it?
No. In fact LT1_Edit automatically resets the PCM with every reprogram
The only way to "undo" the PCM tuning would be to reprogram it with a stock tune. All of this information is stored in the EEPROM, like an OS for your PC. These chips retain their memory with or without power. Kind of like a hardrive for your PC. Learned data, like the fuel trims, are stored in volatile memory and will be lost when the PCM is reset.... kind of like RAM for your PC.
