There is nothing wrong with your sarcasm meter. Some months back, I posted on how I could not get an OBD1 code reader to connect to my '95 Z28. This code reader is listed on Summit as being compatible with a '95, although in actuality it is not, but as a newbie I didn't know that. His reply was "You just wasted $30 on something you could have used a paperclip for".

In effect, you just spent $30 for a device that is equivalent to a 2-cent paperclip.
