Disappearing coolent problem....solved.

Hi..Figured i would update anyone on my problem. My problem was that since last year (when i changed the water pump) I have been loosing a little coolent everytime i drove my car. However, its never enough that it made puddles, but enough that it would need refilled a little evey other time i would drive. So, I finally got sick of constantly filling up the coolent and decided to find my problem. Well, it was the first place I looked. The hose that goes to the heater core from the water pump was leaking where it was clamped to the waterpump. I took it off, cut the crappy end of the hose off, and put it back on with a better clamp. Since then, I have not lost a drop of coolent. Soo, to sum it all up....if your mysteriously loosing coolent check all hoses carefully. One just might be loose.

Cool

Just want to add, that every once in awhile,I tighten up all the hose clamps just atad ,after I found one of the little hoses leaking one time.(Didn't use a screw driver, but a socket on my after market clamps.)Hope this helps.
