Dipstick Solution
Dipstick Solution
I just picked up my ARE 383 LT1
. One problem, with the splayed caps the stock dipstick won't work. Have searched previous threads and can't find a solution
Do I have to drill and modify oil pan or is there a way to get around the cap without cutting the tube ( told by engine builder at ARE that is best way to break a good motor). Hopefully someone else has a solution.

John:
I think you are more likely to get a quick answer to this on "LT1 Tech"... many people there have done the same thing you are doing, and will be able to offer support.
