Question Good Head and Cam setup?

I was thinking about throwing in heads and cam in to my car. The motor is still stock for now. What kind of set-ups do you have? Whats the biggest I can go? What is recommended?

Any one got video or sound clips on how their cars sounds? I would like to hear some

I would suggest Phil at AI. He has had a lot of success with head cam cars. There are 2 people on this board that have his heads and someone just had him save some value ported heads and still turn really good #s for heads that flowed 255/190.

AI heads seem to be very good. Phil can hook ya up if ya get with him. I think he has a "special" cam that works well with LT1's. Not sure if he would sell the cam by itself or if he only sells it as a kit but if not the XE 230-236 seems to be a descent all around cam. The GM 847 cam seems to make good power as well.

If ya want a sound clip ya could do a search. I have seen them listed before but do not remember who had them. I remember a 383 XE cam sound clif that was on here a few days ago.
