dip stick tube

This question is probably obvious, but at the same time I have seen LSx specific oil dip sticks in catelogs. I wanted to make sure a SBC dip stick works on an LT1 or is there a difference? I am looking for a chrome one. Thanks

Re: dip stick tube

The important thing is the length. Buy one the same length as the stocker.

Re: dip stick tube

That was the other thing..this stock tube sticks way up and my engine bay is a little more open than a Camaro. As long as it goes in the block the same amount I should be okay right?

Re: dip stick tube

I did a little more research. It looks like a Lokar 80+ SBC dipstick tube fits the same as an LT1.
