yep, put in the GM847, all supporting mods, never spun it past 6000 150 miles and spun a bearing.

i spun a bearing after 500 miles of having my a cc503 installed by someone else, i just rebuilt my engine myself and have about 600 miles on it with no problems.

I am confident I would have spun bearings if I cammed mine, all cam bearings and two rods were shot. Motor is being rebuilt now.

spun with less than 7000 on car/engine and about couple of hundred after cam install. Never reved past 6 grand. Installed by shop---no explanation or blame accepted. Had to buy a new short block (at least that's what the shop said).

For those of you guys who DID spin, did you noticeably have any cam bearing damage? nick one? Not use enough assembly lube?

Please excuse my ignorance here...

Are we talking about cam bearings, bearings in the rotating assembly, or both? It's not clear to me from this post, nor from the earlier post that Shoebox referenced... ??
