almost xmas time....what to do...

well guys, right now i got $550 cash, and will be getting quite a bit of money for xmas

what i have the options of doing is
headers/exhaust (approx 800 total)

or, buying my 383 rotating assembly (1200ish)

now, i know exactly what I want my motor to be in the long run, and will be saving up for about a year and a half to have everything done.

The way i look at it, I can get my rotating assembly, and have one of the most expensive parts done (other than heads) and the rest will be cheaper stuff....

what do you guys think

Get the headers and exhaust out of the way now and don't forget to have a cut-out welded in too. Then worry about what's next.

I agree, cover the basics first. Plus, your motor build is going to set you back quite a bit, it would be silly just to buy the rotating assembly now when it is just going to be sitting around.

Yup get the power you can get for now. LTs, ORY, and catback are a good idea.
