Did anyone ever figure out the LT1 hesitation problem?

First off let me say that my internet has been down for a few months and I remember alot of posts on hesitation, but I did a search and didn't see anything on what it really is. Did anyone ever figure out what causes the car to hesitate when its hot and at 2000 RPM? I've replaced the following and my car is still hesitating and I'm getting ready to just get rid of it because of it; opti, wires, coil, plugs, O2 sensors, waterpump, fuel pressure regulator, and fuel filter. I also scanned the car and there are no codes on it. Could it be the fuel injectors? Also I experienced another problem recently, when I was sitting at a light in drive with my foot on the brake, the car wanted to rev up on its own and drive away, I could bearly hold it back, however after changing the opti this went away, did anyone else ever experience something like this? Thank you for any help given.

Just about anything will cause a hesitation on these cars. For one guy I can remember, it was the IAT. For another guy, his problems were stemming from the Coolant Temperature Sensor (the one for the computer, not the one in the head). For me, I simply had dropped compression on two cylinders. Could it be fuel injectors? Quite possibly.

After seeing what myself and so many other people go/went through in swapping parts, ect, my advice would be this:

Get the car on a scanner and check everything there. Once there, you can verify what is and isn't working properly.
