Desktop Dyno Software
Desktop Dyno Software
Anyone use any of the Desktop Dyno Software in relation to our LT1/LT4`s?
How flexible is the software to adapt our intakes,EFI, etc.?
Thanks!

Re: Desktop Dyno Software
I know I have a copy of Desktop Dyno, and Dyno2000 laying around somewhere, but I don't know where. I do have the latest, Dynosim, installed.
In this version, there are several types of intakes to choose from. I have chosen Tuned Port Injection as the closest type.

Re: Desktop Dyno Software
Thanks fellas. I was thinking of getting the Desktop Dyno software, just to play with, learn, etc. It`s a shame the LTX manifolds aren`t really called out in the software. I guess, as long as I look at things as trends or how changing something effects the big picture, it may be worthwhile.

Yes, you are correct. I had the wrong file open when I took that screenshot - my bad. (it was another LT1 file I have)
For my stock LT1 file, I use the Tunnel ram-std along with the 'low performance heads' to get the curves in the proper place and the numbers as close as possible - even though there still high by about 20 on hp and tq.
