People with Hi-Flow cats come inside please.

I just added a Corsa to my car and it sounds pretty mean and nasty. I want to tame it a bit and i remember that when i took my stock cat off with my Borla it made a huge difference. Does putting on a Hi-Flow cat tame an exhaust much? I'd assume since they're high flow they aren't muffling the exhaust as much. I've seen some nice Magnaflows on ebay that are made to fit our cars for $63 shipped and i'm really leaning towards getting one but if they won't tame the exhaust much then i'll just get a stocker.

I went from no cat, then to pass emissions I put one back on. At an idle it is slightly quieter, car vibrates less. At about 2500rpm+ you cannot tell the difference before and after.

I've gone from stock cat, Magnaflow 94009 cat, to no cat on my Hooker exhaust... When I replaced the Magnaflow cat with a pipe, there was a difference in sound... Not a night and day difference, but a noticable one... There was more of a difference in loudness from the high flow cat to pipe than there was from the stock cat to high flow.

Good thats what i want to hear. I bought one of those high flow magnaflow cats off ebay. I hope it will tame it down, i guess for the price its worth a shot. I've always heard the Corsa is awesome and sounds great to me, its kind of loud and just plain nasty at WOT. I do think a cat will clean up the nastyness i just hope it also makes it a little more quiet too.
