Angry Dent in the oil pan?

When I was installing my new motormounts I used a block of wood on my floor jack to jack up the motor under the oilpan. Well everyhting went fine on the drivers side but when I was doing the passenger side I noticed I had dented the oilpan a little. It looks like I the edge od the wood put a dent across the oiplan. the dent is probably 1/4'' deep. My question is do you guys think this will cause any problems? Thanks

I dented mine a bit, while putting in the passenger side header. No problems so far and have been running like that for over a month now.

I was hoping it wasn't going to be a problem, because I didn't feel like putting a differnt oil pan in(that will cme when the engine gets built some day). I don't think it should be a problem.

I have dented the oil pan while jacking up the motor with two big 'city telephone books'. I was worried first, but then looked into the oil drain hole and saw the pickup was still on. If you can't see the pickup, knock the pan with a rubber mallett and you if you weren't lucky enough, you should hear the pickup rattling at the bottom of the pan.

I guess the LT1 is just too damn heavy for jacking it up at the oil pan...:blah:
