I'm not sure if there is a way to test it to find out if the optical sensors are ok or not...anyone know??

Your mouting plate is so shinny
Mine had the center hole in the wrong place. I had to drill it out myself. They said they had it fixed but I must have got a bad one. Said I could get a new one, but never bothered but if they look that nice than man maybe I will.
