Delteq in GMHTP
Delteq in GMHTP
Those of you that folllow GMHTP (GM high tech performance) know that over the last few issues they are installing an LT1 in an 89 Firebird. Well I just got the new issue and they are installing a Delteq system on it. WOW! Pretty cool, can't wait till they drive it and see what they think.
Gotta check it out, lots of interesting info.

I seen that as well, very nice article, they also add an L-98 alternator and shave back off the extra weight of the Deltec. I'm looking at doing that now.

Re: Delteq in GMHTP
What does everyone think of one of these in a mostly stock car? My '94 has 36K miles but is on the original non-vented opti. Anyone else doing this for preventive maint? I intend to keep my car for a long time-and possibly some major engine mods in a couple years.
Re: Delteq in GMHTP
Well I just ordered mine because i have had a high drop out for over a year now and with the 3.73's putting it higher all the time, it's not fun to drive when you don't know if it's going to fire at 4700 or it's going to do nothing till it shifts.
