Deleting AIR from AIR Equiped Headers?

Can this be done? I was just planning on putting some type of bolt in the threaded holes that are there. Would this work? If so, what size bolt would I need? Something like 22-24mm it looks like. Oh and BTW they are Pacesetters. Thanks

You can use a pipe thread plug from Home Depot or Lowe's. Take the elbow that goes to the check valve with you and match it up, unless someone pipes in here with the correct size. I'm not sure of the size.

Some of us have had good luck with M22-1.5 oil drain plugs. Shouldn't have to pay more than a couple bucks each. Get a thin copper gasket of the correct size, to help seal the bolt to the header. The thread match isn't "exact", but it works.

Where can I buy these oil drain plugs? Is M22 the size of the head on the bolt or the thread size? Sorry if I sound stupid, lol. Thanks

The thread is 22mm diameter, and the pitch is 1.5mm per thread. These plugs are used in the Dodge/Cummins Diesel pickup trucks, older BMW's and maybe some Alfa's. Some chain auto parts stores will carry them, but its not a popular size.

This outfit sells them for about $Can 2 each, plus shipping. Part # 1016:
