deleting AIR

yes i searched. but didnt find the info i need. my car is a 95 formula lt1 t56 car. i have no clue if the recall was done on my car or not. im trying to clean my bay up as much as possible. i pulled the pump off today, and the one wiring plug comes right off, the other side of it is hard wired into the pump, and runs up to the vaccum soleniod, shown here
http://shbox.com/1/air_pump_recall.jpg
center bottom drawing there^
its all hard wired together, so do i just remove that thing to? and the tiny vac lines going to manifold, just cap those at the manifold?
also the wires, can i just follow them as far back the harness as possible and just cut them off? and just make sure they dont touch? or does that not matter? im sure some of them are hot...
just dont know what to do with this extra thing, i just expected to pull the pump and be done with it.... thanks for any help guys!

I'm pretty sure I've seen a thread in the past addressing the issue of the wiring that is attached to the pump, as well as the other stuff that has to be done.

Shoebox's diagram shows that there is a harness connector at the solenoid.
