Cut out open, bogs off idle

Just installed an electric cut out right before the axle. Now when hard launching off idle it bogs, hesitates, and slight backfire. Once the RPM's are up it's fine. Cut out closed all is well. Not sure where to start. Anyone one else have this problem or know what to look for? I sure can't use it at the track like this.

Did some more testing and it does it too with the cut out closed just not as noticeable. Guess I'll have to plug in and start scanning.

Found a DTC 23. Could a bad IAT or wire cause the car to stumble/backfire then take off and run normally? If I hold the throttle open just slightly and nail it it takes off fine. It's only from a closed throttle idle that it happens.

Put some dielectrical grease on both ends of coil wire, cracked throttle body open a 1/2 turn, and problem went away.
