And some people wonder why F-body owners get a bad reputation

Well, in all fairness it was a joke. If their were porblems, I would work with them to get it resolved, but I wouldn't NOT put exhaust on my car because they didn't like it. I live about 3 miles from Houtson Raceway Park and can hear dirt track cars all the time and especially the big boys when they come into town. SO, hopefully the neighbors are use to it already. And if we didn't want to bother anyone with exhaust noise, the track needs to be shut down.

I'm just joking with you. I am really paranoid about driving my car in the neighborhood at night. I tend to drive so slow to keep the noise down someone will probably think I'm pulling a drive by and call the cops on me.

Yes, of course. I wouldn't treat the neighborhood like a drag strip. Defintley would get the cops called on you for doing that. Might have to get the neighbors to go in half-and-half on a payment for a little used car if they didn't like the "noise pollution."

Compliments bro, not complaints. BTW I messed up....I thought you went with the TSP Rumbler Cat-back, not the TSP True Duals. I have the Cat-back so that's what you heard in the video lol. I'm sure the True Duals will sound cleaner and probably louder.

94sinister, excuse me. It seems I can't read. It wasn't your fault, I just said TSP Rumbler. I was kinda unaware they called every cat-back system they make a Rumbler.

Re: Custom true duals, need opinion of setup

Had my duals done yesterday. 3" pipe off the Pacesetter longtubes with 3 bolt flanges. Into a 3" Summit X pipe turned sideways so it tucks tighter, more 3" pipe, into 3" Purple hornies with turndowns just before the axle.
My car is pretty low too, I'm at 26" from the ground to the top of the fender opening on all 4 corners.
Before, I made 350/339 at the wheels with a spot on dyno tune. I dynoed yesterday at 361/350 with a very lean condition, 14.2:1. I am expecting 375/358 with the A/F straightened out.
The "before" exhaust you ask? Hooker shorties into a gutted cat, stock catback with a Flowmaster muffler.

Just out of curiosity, did you have any issues/nightmares with the header install? I might be picking up a set of pacesetters this week.

Re: Custom true duals, need opinion of setup

Actually the hard part was getting the hooker shorty's off. All the b.s. i had read about jacking the motor up, taking out motor mounts, apparently that was all crap from people that diddnt know what they were doing. All i had to remove was the steering linkage on the drivers side, and I took the oil filter and starter off just in case it might give me some more clearance, weather it did or not i cant say.

As for the fitment/design of the pacesetters i purchased on 11/10/05, they are perfect. the only problem I ran into was that the driver side header had to be bent downwards a bit because of how low the floorboard brace that the trans crossmember runs into is in the way by about 1/4 of an inch. i give them a 9 out of 10. these were race use headers.

Heres my set-up. Summit 3" X-pipe kit, Spin Tech mufflers, and turndowns.

LTsrace, that setup looks awesome. I'm thinking about just going with 16" bullets before the axle.

Right now its open header and its ear splitting and rattles everything in the car. i may not have as much clearance on the passenger side as i had originally thought.
