curious hot cam questions.

i want to have an idea on horsepower, torque, and track times. ok so i just put in the LT4 hot cam kit, cam, lifters, hardened pushrods, 1.6 rocker arms, springs, new GM lifters, i also have the K@N cold air intake, aftermarket MAF, 52mm throttle body, flowmaster muffler (40 series), high flow cat. and aftermarket y pipe,3.42 gears, soon to be tuned by PBJ (performance by joe) in st.louis, 18 inch Z06 rims, and keep in mind it will be reving to 6,100 RPM. if you have any ideas please let me know. thanks guys!

After you get it tuned, if your car is a 6 speed you should be putting down anywhere between 330-340hp to the rear wheels on a dynojet. I put down 322rwhp/333rwtq without the 1.6 rockers. All dynos are different though...

With that power and a full weight, stock suspension car you should be able to go bottom 13s pretty easily, and top to mid 12s if you can hook well. You're about as fast as a bolt-on LS1.

You might be able to pick up a few horsepower by running a cutout before your muffler.

I would guess you would be in the 320ish range and be somewhere in the upper to mid 12s. You may consider upgrading your exhaust down the road to a good set of headers and a decent catback.

1) You dynoed @ 302hp before the HOT cam kit?
2) Are you running stock exhaust manifolds?
3) Were you running some other non-stock cam when you dynoed @ 302?

it was w/the stock cam, springs, lifters, and pushrods. i am running manifolds. all i had done when it was dynoed was full intake, high flow y pipe, and cat. so now i have the Lt4 hot cam kit. cam, springs, lifters, hardened pushrods, 1.6 rocker arms. and im going to get it tuned.
