Crankshaft hub from a 96+ fit on a 95?

Possibly clearance issues??
I am looking to get a new one and decided to be on the safe side before i bought one.
If a 96 wont work on my 95 (misfire reluctor) which years will?

96+ is shorter due to the addition of the CPS reluctor, you need a 93-95 F-Body hub(not Y-body[vette], not B-body[caprice, roadmaster, ect.])

Why not a B-body hub?

I have a donor engine from a Caprice but put different internals in there (Scat crank and rods, Probe pistons). Since it came from a Caprice, I guess I should stick with a Caprice hub....is the difference the way it lines up with the pulleys?

The difference is in the accessories not the engine so use the correct hub for YOUR CAR not the donor car.

OK, thanks for the quick reply. Guess I will have figure out which to use, I am putting this into an 86 IROC so it is taking me a little while doing all the "homework" as I go.

Thanks again for the quick answer!

use the hub and damper to match the accessories, the B-body acccessory bracket is a little deeper then the f-body one, and vette is also different
