No oil cooler??

No oil cooler??

'95 Trans Am with the GU5 (3.23) axle. I thought with the GU5 there is supposed to be an oil cooler.

I guess that eliminates that as a cause for my spun bearing, but I wonder why I don't have one.

I ordered my '95 in June of '94 with 3.23's and didn't get an oil cooler. Good deal, I've read of people having troubles with it. GM must have come to the same conclusion.

It was an option and not included with the gears.
