crank hub re-installation question
crank hub re-installation question
I didnt mark the hub before I took it off so how exactly would I put the hub back on to make sure everything will line up as far as timing goes? Right now it is in #6 TDC. If I get it to #1 TDC, which way would the "aarow" on the crank hub instelf point? Thanks.

When doing a cam swap, the crank hub should point in the direction of the "Bainbridge lean" which will insure a straight run at the track this weekend. This might overcome friends who run spray to keep suprises to a minimum.

Well now that I have the timing issue taken care of, I cant get the bolt back out of the crank. I dont want to musce it around to much because I really, REALLY dont want to break it off in there. Any ideas here?
EDIT---Got the bolt out and buying a new one.
And Bart, I live in Tallahassee. And given that I fix this little problem that I have brought upon myself, Im gonna have some fun come Sunday.
