Cracked radiator reserve

96 z28 camaro. Ive been losing a lot of coolant and I removed my radiator reserve and noticed it has a crack underneath the battery tray. When I looked there was no fluid but its an obvious crack. Can fluid be leaking here without me noticing? Also the lower radiator hose was colapsed, what could be the cause of this?

All help is greatly appreciated.

The reserve you can get at your local dealership... Cost around 25 dollars when I picked up mine... As for the lower hose, how old is it???? Might be worn...

The hose collapses when the system cools down, and pulls a vacuum. The cap should relieve the vacuum, pulling replacement coolant from the reservoir. Appears you may have a problem with your cap, as well as with the reservoir.
