Counting Knock.

How would i count the knock that my car is producing without having an LT1 scanmaster.

You need a scanner of some sort....either a software system (e.g. AutoTap) or one of the many OBD-II hardware scanners that are currently availbale (at least one step up from a simple "code scanner", and able to read OBD-II "enhanced parameters".)

ScanMaster will only tell you what the "knock retard" is, it will not display the knock count.

So i could get one at either an o reiley's or an Advance auto parts. What type should i get and how much is it.
