Question Could a manifold leak cause a P0135 code?

I have a small Manifold leak (driverside rearmost tube of manifold)
The car just started throwing a P0135 Code (O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)) the other day. Could the leak cause this?

The O2 is less than 3 weeks old (only abot 500 miles)

any help would be great i cant drive the car anyome because its past due for inspection and it wont pass with the SES light on.

Thanks,

Ed

No the manifold would not cause an O2 sensor code. THe manifold would be causing a vacuum leak though.

Thanks for the quick reply

Any suggestions on what I should do to try to fix it. i cant really try things like switching the O2s and stuff like that because since the cars inspection is expired i will get tagged by the cops if I drive it around, and they dont wana hear a story.
