nodular crank

I havnt yet decided on the motor combo when I freshin it up this summer. In my looking up prices and stuff I saw nodular cranks arent much more than cast and my stock crank has took alot of abuse and not sure if I will be staying stock cubes. I heard the LT4 crank was nodular but I dont see it advertised anywhere. I was thinking scat nodular. I may go 383 since there is a wide selection of parts but I was thinking 396 just to have more cubes. Are there any cast or nodular cranks in a 3.875 throw and what pistons? Any info on nodular would be helpfull.

Re: nodular crank

The Scat 383 crank is a nice piece. Takes a good deal of abuse too. It's actually a cast steel crank and much stronger than the stock crank, but I've yet to see anyone break a stock crank either.

There is no 396 cranks out there that are nodular iron cast cranks.
