Depends how much HP you're making. If you're stock, the stock MAF, with screen intact, is more than adequate. If you are making 500+HP, you might see some gains.

The site claims 9+ HP so regardless that seems to be an increase or better than what I would have...main concern was if it would mess with the car's programming/computer and or air/fuel ratio? I dont pretend to know much about cars but I was just wondering if that would throw anything for a loop?

If you honesty believe all advertisers claims do yourself a favor and do not modify your car atall.

IF they gained that much power it has to do with calibrations not intake restriction.

The stock programming is too rich and the aftermarket likes to try and sell MAFs that lie to the pcm about airflow to trick it into leaning out a little which can gain HP. Thing is that is a completelyassbackwards way to do it and the right way is to reprogram the pcm for the right air fuel ratio.

One good tuner found single digit HP gains on his personal over 500rwhp car by swapping out the stock MAF. For single HP gains on something that nasty your car would see NOTHING if properly programmed before and after. Again though when things like this show gains it is because of improper programming before.
