Coolant temp sensor

Hubby finally got his motor back (after 5 months) and they lost his coolant temp sensor. He ordered one from NAPA with the GM part number and it came with 2 prong terminals. His only has a one prong terminal on the adapter. HOW does he handle this? I've googled until Google said enough and all I can find is a 2 prong male terminal.

Re: Coolant temp sensor

I just ordered one thru the chevy dealership and it was pretty cheap. If the engine is the same with the same wiring harness, the vin number will show the part number that should work.

1993-1997 coolant temperature sensor for gauge
AC-Delco # 213-77
GM 25037332

Either of those two numbers will get you the correct sensor.
