This may sound like a stupid question but I recently purchased my LT1 and decided to look if the coolant was at the right level. It was at the right level but it seemed to be a watery light pink color and I'm used to anti-freeze being green.. Is this normal anti-freeze for the LT1 or did the previous owner just put water in the radiator.

 

What year was the LT1? Some 95 and 96+ used Dex-cool, redish/ornage antifreeze.

 

Its a 97 Formula Firebird. I believe it is suppose to have Dexcool

 

What about the green coolant?
