Cold Air Induction Help

I'm going to install the K&N cold air intake on my 1995, Z28 today. Do I have to change the original mass air flow sensor? Or will the system work fine with the original one?

Thanks,

No need to change the MAF.

Thank, will I get the same HP increase with the original? How much more power can I get with an aftermarket MSF?

Thanks again,

Thanks again,
A big whopping 2 horsepower if that. what you gain from aftermarket MAF's only count when you go over 400 horses and even then it's minimal maybe 8 horse max. What you do gain is more intake noise as you will be able to hear your intake "sucking" in air.

I noticed a big difference with my SLP CAI. Your going to love it, I do!! Took .3 off added 2mph and thats spinning twice as much as I did before it . Id love to know what she runs in ideal weather and with good traction.

You'll be much better off by sticking with your stock MAF. I think the aftermarket MAF's are a little over-rated anyway.

Thats a real sweet 95 convertable. I happen to have a 95 covertable as well but nufortuntely no pictures yet. Just got it a few weeks ago. Its bone stock right now but its like new with only 20k orignal miles. It moves nice for stock, these LT1's really have power to spare..

Can't wait to put all the good stuff on.
