contradictive dtc

I have a DTC of P0174 but my long term fuel trim on bank 2 is roughly +20. Since the problem is a rich condition shouldn't the fuel trim be a negative number so as to try and correct the rich condition?

P0172 if for Bank 1. Bank 2 is P0174.

Would appear to be a massive case of split BLM's.
