Connecting rod!!!

Connecting rod!!!
I was wondering if somebody could tell me which way the connecting rod installs into the motor. Otherwords which way the dots face.

If you look at the big end of the rod, one side is chamfered where the bearing goes. The chamfered side always faces the crank throws. In other words, the 2 flat sides from opposing rods face eachother.

I am still a little confused. Are you saying that the dots are facing each other or not? I am tring to find out with way the connecting rod connects to the crank.
