the end of this cam has about a 1/2" diameter hole in it... looks like the 07 cam in the picture even though the part number is 08

Good deal Timberwolf. Should work then!

Sorry to banter back and forth on this thing but like I said... you need to be sure.

Glad to see that lilbush made a reply and I hope that he understands that my comments weren't directed as an attack on his honesty.... just that there was a reasonable doubt here. I would have been concerned too.

Let us know how everything works out.

That was my thought on it exactly. I had no ill will, just needed to be sure before I got that far

Looks like I may need a vented opti conversion though sinc that was what his was... what all is involved in that?

I'd do a search, but the database seems to be screwed up right now and the search results come from many months ago only...

one other question... is a 2800 vigilante going to stall high enough for that cam? my car is about 300lbs lighter than stock and has 3.73 gears...

Maybe not, I have a 3500 in mine right now with 3.73's and I'm considering to go to a 3800. You can fell it when it get's out of the power band and back in it. It's shy about 200 rpm where I want it to be in the power band at. It shifts and it drops to about 5150-5200. That's shifting at 6375-6400.

Mine is a 230/236 on a 111LSA

You can always start there and than move up.
