Compression ratio question

I have a set of heads that have been milled .010, with a stock deck height, and a stock bottom end. What will my compression ratio be if I use a .026 thick head gasket such as Mr Gasket 5716s? Thanks

Re: Compression ratio question

Well, stock the chambers are 55cc (I think) and my chambers have been polished so that might add a coulple of cc's, but I would think that being milled .010 they would still be very close to 55cc. Basicly I'm wanting to get 11 to 1 out of it. So you think the .026s will get me there?

Re: Compression ratio question

Your chamber is now about 1-2cc smaller, and you have about a -6cc valve relief, pistons .030 in the hole.... around 11.0-11.1:1

Re: Compression ratio question

Damn I didn't know the pistons were .030" in the hole! I was putting in .020" and using a smaller combustion chamber and coming up with around 11.5:1, which I knew couldn't be right.....
