complete valvetrain list for gm847??

first off ive been searching all day for info on this topic. i am looking into putting a gm847 cam in my car and am trying to put together a parts list so i get all of the right stuff. for lifters and pushrods im planning on buying new stock replacements. the problems im having is finding the right valve springs and rockers. it seems like the most popular choices for springs are either the k motion k800s or the comp cams 985s. i have questions for each choice. first, what else is needed for the k motions (retainers, keepers, etc.) i know that no machining work needs to be done to use these. now as for the 985s, what else is needed for these? how much does machining the heads cost. as for the rockers, what set would handle the 847 but not be too expensive. thanks for any help guys!

I know bret bauer can get you a bee hive spring setup with everything for like 300 bucks or something.

You will also need some 1.6 rrs i would use comp pro mags. I would buy at least some hardend pushrods if not some chromoly ones. Stocks probably wont be up to the task of around .600 lift.

I probably wouldnt go for SA rockers. A NSA + Guideplate setup would be less noisy.

Also the 58mm TB isnt neccessary unless you plan on going further with the engine later (ported heads) it also requires the intake to be modified (opened up the match the TB).

do the heads have to be machined for the bret bauer beehive kit? if so how much does it normally cost for the machining? i already have the cloyes, electric wp, 58mm tb, and ported heads, i just want to figure out what this cam swap is going to cost me total.

I bought them from Byunspeed. They USED to be a supporting vendor here.......I don't know what happened but they were SLOOOOOOOOOOOW to ship. Good price though.

P.S. When I say slow, I mean they make gmpartsdirect look like speed demons at shipping.
