My new x-pipe setup *pic*
My new x-pipe setup *pic*
I finally decided to go with this setup after looking around message boards for a few weeks.
Pacesetter 1-3/4 primary long tubes (still in box)
2-Flowmaster 3" to 2-1/2" venturi reducer/collector extensoins
2-Dynomax Thrush Glasspacks, 2-1/2", straight through 20" long
Summit universal 2-1/2" x-pipe
VHT flat black thermal paint to keep the welds from rusting after assembly.
I'll defiently get a sound clip and a few pics sent out to lt1engine.com and ls1sounds.com after all is said and done. Here it is dry fit in the floor:

Re: My new x-pipe setup *pic*
very cool. I had almost the same setup on my other car, except I had the 12" bullets. I always wanted to put the longer mufflers on there to see if would make it a little quieter.
Re: My new x-pipe setup *pic*
looks good but i think your gonna run into some problems getting that to hook up especially with the driver side header connecting to that setup...let me know how the install goes
Re: My new x-pipe setup *pic*
I agree. Looks like he may have gotten enough clearance from going down to 2.5"(?) pipe after the collectors though. Let us know if you have any frame clearance problems on the drivers side after the install.
Re: My new x-pipe setup *pic*
got the same setup as well except w/ just straight pipes and dumps, everything fit perfectly but the driver side collector hit the floorboards when i stand on the pedal. might need to adjust everthing after you drive it around, i just used the BFH mod on the driver side floorboard. everythig fit great after that, either way good luck. and i dont think you will ever go back to a y-pipe after doing the x and bullets, the sound is just awsome
