Too big for what? It depends what you are using the car for, you can't expect anyone to give you an answer without any info on the car or setup.

It's a 355, IMHO it's too big reguardless of the heads you have.

For what its worth I am running it on a stock cube motor, with a very nice set of heads, makes awesome power, and is more drivable than the CC306. Also have put it in a couple of customer cars no bigger than 355's and all have loved it. Not sure why everyone has only negative comments on it.

How about some track and/or dyno #'s? I still haven't seen anything remotly impressive out of any of the XFI cams.

Well I Picked up 26 HP over my CC306 and went from running 8.0's to a 7.81. I hope that helps you out some. Seen similar or better results in customer cars as well. The Mid range Torque on this cam is unbelievable compared to the 306 was.

I must say this cam rocks!! For an "off the shelf" cam (not custom grinded) it has lots of power. I know i have a 383 instead of a 355 and it pulls hard all the way to 6800rpms easy. Sorry i dont have any track/dyno numbers because im still trying to save up money from what this whole project has costed me. Im hoping for 400RWHP with a good dynotune and somewhere in the 11's if i get a good 60ft and my stock 10 bolt dont explode!

I think you should be fine with the cam and would be happy with the results. Make sure you have a good clutch to that will grab and go

I'm not sure if the XFI-292 is too big for your engine, however, I love that cam in my 396 w/ AFR 195s!

I had the same debate. I talked with Brett and a few others, none of the Custom guys was quick o offer what I wanted out of it. I had teh 306, worked on a couple with the 847 and such, and just decided to try this one. was a great move, and it has sold several others on it also.
