Your joking right? That is one happy dyno, to get that 1/8 mile and that rwhp/rwtq.

Or did you just dyno on Jan 15th?

Dyno'ed at the fbodygathering in Atlanta. I talked with you also about a cam and you shed some advice and was partially what led me to this decision. Running in Knoxville on a 94* day with only a 1.73 60' cause dang 28's wouldn't hook on slick track. Again Every customer car I have put this cam in they have been extremely happy with it. I am not trying to take or persuade any business away from anyone going custom or anything by any means. FYI dyno was done at Dynolab.

Either way man the track numbers and a 414rwtq out of a 350 don't add up, that's all I'm saying. You gotta F-body here not a Supra, you can only race dynos with a Supra.

BTW Look up Jan 15th, "I have a dream" comes to mind.

Well tell ya what Brett, I ma going back to a different dyno in three weeks and I will be more than happy to update you on the ratings then. Till then since obviously a couple on here know everything I will not give any more insight to what he asks. I was trying to give what has been proven results from my car, and one nearly set up identical to mine except a Z with a 355 in it.

I am not trying to argue with you, but this is a very common debate about any cam and most of the time the answer is simply go custom. There is some great off the shelf cams out there and I have put this in my 350, and everything on up. Has responded awesome. You asked for some numbers and I have provided them.
Can you post up the graph? I wanna see the torque curve on that. I went 7.9@93.6 in the 1/8th with the dyno #'s in my sig with a miss from 5800 on up, full weight and street trim.

As it does with us when you spout off about all your race engines and knowledge you glean from other sites.

It's not even plausible someone could have great results from a mediocre shelf grind, is it?

I still like the way smaller duration, higher lift cams work in our cars...I'm at 3650 raceweight and my duration is in the 22X/23X range, but the lift is just a tick under .570"...granted its in a 383, but with stock ported castings with 2.00/1.56s it plain hauls and its done by 6300-6500...I think the cam I use would be great in a 350-355...

...and dynos are for tuning...let your mph at the track tell you whats happening...I don't make 400 rwhp (on a mustang dyno) but I trap fairly good in both the 1/8 and the 1/4...

A "stage 2" stock casting that flows 300cfm at.550....did I miss something? FLow graph please.

My little 355 with heads that flowed 257 and a cam that was 222/224@.050 on a 112, in a 3700lb six speed car ran 8.0 @ 89.7 mph in the 1/8 with a 2.0 60ft in the heat of summer, I have no idea how much power it was making(I guessed it was near 380 rwhp)....why would you NEED a cam that big in a 355? With a 4.88 geared six speed it might do pretty well IMO. With the right combo of compression and gearing it would be ok I guess.

Well I remember Steve Stumph(Sar2k) from this board had that cam, he ported the heads him self, stock bottomened and the car made 440rwhp auto (4l60e), ran 11.20@118mph testing before a piston broke or something but it sure ran well for a 350" LT1. Later Clint
