Cold air induction?

I was just wondering if a Cold Aid Intake is really worth it? are there noticable gains? Are any one company different from the others b/c the SLP CAI looks pretty good to me.

Yes the CAI is worth it. Your car will breathe MUCH better over stock. Your top end pull will be great. Almost all the CAI's do the same. Its up to you and what you want to spend and what you want your motor to look like.

I realize everyone knows this, but I love to repeat it...It ain't "Cold Air Induction" anymore than it is "Ram Air Induction"

A CAI is just an uncovered air filter, some being routed such that they are able to induct a little fresher (not under the hood) O2.

Ram/Scam air, ain't rammed. A Super Charger or Turbo "Rams".

In choosing any performance induction system, the most efficient will be the one that is located at the point where it has access to fresh air.

And since air temp is important, the cooler the better. If the outside temp is 110 deg, the inducted air is going to be at a minumum of 110 Deg. once it reaches the Combustion Chamber.

I have seen some systems that actually induct the air close enough to the radiator that the air is extra warm. Go figure.

Anyway, just food for thought when you are deciding on putting in a CAI.
