Post Going to track for 1st time, need helpful hints!!!

This Thursday will be the first time racing my car. I have a 97Z, 6 speed. I'm wondering what times to expect on street tires. Some mods include 150hp Compucar Nitrous, K&N cold air induction, SLP loudmouth, Accel ignition. Coming soon JBA headers, Sportline springs. Some friends have been predicting low 12's, if I can hook up. I'm curious on how to launch...full thottle I'll sit and spin. Has anyone left on the ASR and had good results?

I've seen some guys come to the track and forget SIMPLE things, like wearing JEANS to the track! Don't forget!

Low 12's shouldn't be hard with a 150 shot of N2O. Watch it with that stock rear unless you have an emergency ride home.

If you're planning on running low 12's, the tech guys MAY ask you what times you expect to run. If you're planning on running a FULL 150 shot of N20, then you'll be in the 12's guaranteed. So make sure you have a driveshaft loop. If you DO manage to pull off something 11.99 or faster, then they'll probably make you leave. "Come back when you have a cage."
