coil pack conversion

hey anyone have pics or any info on how to do the coil conversion. Are there any kits available or do i gotta find some LS1 camaro with no alarm?

It's called LTCC. You might try searching it under that. I saw som pics of it but don't remember where at.

Do a "search" for "LTCC".... that's the black box that allows your system to operate using the Opti low res signal for cam position, and direct fire 8 LS1-style coils. There is a similar setup from "Delteq" that uses the ignition driver from the Northstar engine, and a 4-coil pack in "waste spark" mode.

I've been running without the full Opti for more than 5 years, first with the Electromotive Opti-Eliminator, and then with an aftermarket ECU using the Otpi low res signal.... so I think its worth it. Getting the high voltage stuff out of the Opti housing seems to improve its life expectancy.

As has been stated, do a search on LTCC, you'll find all your information.

Search on Delteq too, it's another coil pack conversion. I bought that one...haven't installed it yet, but am very satisfied with customer servics thus far.
